Cancellation & Refund Policy

Effective from: April 23, 2026

1. Service start

Your subscription begins with the first successful payment for the selected plan. You can cancel anytime at no charge in Profile → Subscription — the service remains available until the end of the current billing period.

2. Cancelling a paid subscription

You can cancel your paid subscription at any time:

  • via your Profile → Subscription page, or
  • via the Stripe customer portal (link provided in your payment confirmation email).

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — the service remains fully available until then. There are no cancellation fees and no exit survey.

3. Refund policy

3.1. Default rule

Because the service consists of digital content made immediately available, and because the User expressly waives the 14-day right of withdrawal upon activating a paid plan (see Terms, Section 5.2 and Article 29(1)(m) of Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.)), subscription fees are generally non-refundable. The service remains accessible until the end of the paid cycle.

3.2. 14-day right of withdrawal — EU consumers

EU-resident Users qualifying as consumers enjoy a 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU, provided the digital content has not yet been supplied. By activating a paid plan, the User expressly requests that the service begin before the 14-day period expires and acknowledges losing the right of withdrawal (Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU).

Section 7 contains a withdrawal-form template — its disclosure is required by Article 11(1)(i) of Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.) regardless of the fact that the active right of withdrawal has been extinguished by the start of service performance.

3.3. Discretionary refunds

On a case-by-case basis, in response to complaints or technical failures within 7 days, we may issue a pro-rata refund. Contact info@webinar4me.com with: registered email, Hungarian invoice number (Számlázz.hu), and the reason. We respond within 5 business days.

3.4. Statutory rights

Mandatory consumer-protection rights under your local law remain unaffected — this Policy does not exclude them.

4. Processing (Stripe refund)

Approved refunds are returned via Stripe to the original payment method, typically within 5-10 business days. 10x Akadémia Kft as Merchant of Record concurrently issues a credit note via Számlázz.hu and emails it to the customer.

5. Price changes

Price changes affect existing subscribers only from the next renewal cycle, with at least 30 days' prior email notice. You can cancel for free before the new price takes effect.

6. Merchant of Record & invoicing

This refund policy is issued by 10x Akadémia Kft (1136 Budapest, Tátra utca 5. A. ép. alagsor 2. ajtó, Hungary; tax no. 32987953-2-41) acting as Merchant of Record. The Hungarian e-invoice and credit note are issued through Számlázz.hu (KBOSS.hu Kft).

7. Withdrawal-form template

Disclosure required by Annex 2 of Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.). Although the active right of withdrawal is extinguished by the start of digital content delivery (see §3.2), publishing this template is a statutory obligation.
