Viewer Notice (Platform-level)

Effective from: May 8, 2026

This is an informative translation. The Hungarian version is the legally binding one.

What is this notice? You are registering for or watching a webinar on the automated webinar platform webinar4me.com. This notice fulfils the GDPR Article 13/14 information duty: it tells you that your data is processed by the webinar organizer and the Platform operator as two separate, independent data controllers, each on its own legal basis and for its own purpose. If the webinar owner (the "User") publishes their own, more detailed privacy notice on the registration or watch page, theirs takes precedence for their own activities.

1. Controllers (separate / independent)

Two independent controllers receive your registration data (name, email, optional phone) and viewing analytics, each for their own purpose:

  • The webinar organizer (the User), as a webinar4me subscriber and an independent controller — their imprint is shown in the footer of the webinar landing page and/or in the privacy notice they publish. Purpose: solely delivering the webinar service — joining the session, attendance reminders, replay access.
  • 10x Akadémia Kft (1136 Budapest, Tátra utca 5. A. ép. alagsor 2. ajtó, Hungary; reg. no. 01-09-453005; tax no. 32987953-2-41), as Platform operator and an independent controller. Purpose: providing the registration service, transactional emails (registration confirmation, reminders, replay link), security, fraud prevention, and reporting to the User. Contact: info@webinar4me.com

Legal bases (Art. 6 GDPR): processing necessary to deliver the webinar service is based on contract (Art. 6(1)(b)); platform-level security and fraud prevention rest on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Marketing communication — important: the mandatory acknowledgement you tick on the registration form covers ONLY the use of your data for delivering the webinar service — it does NOT authorise marketing communication. The Platform does NOT collect or transmit any marketing consent on behalf of the webinar organizer. If the organizer wishes to send you newsletters, offers or other marketing communications, they must obtain valid GDPR consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) directly from you, via their own channel, separately from this registration. The organizer's marketing activity (if any) is solely their responsibility under their own privacy notice.

2. Sub-processors used by 10x Akadémia

For its own controller activities, 10x Akadémia Kft engages the sub-processors listed in section 4. The User's own sub-processors (their CRM, newsletter tools, etc.) are described in the User's own privacy notice.

3. Data processed and purpose

  • Registration data (name, email, optional phone): for the webinar invitation, reminders, replay link, and disclosure to the organizer.
  • Attendance and viewing analytics (when you joined, how long you watched, which CTAs you clicked): for reporting to the User and Platform-level quality assurance.
  • Referral data (if you used a mentor/team-member link): assigned to the appropriate User-side referral analytics.
  • Technical data (IP, user agent, session ID): security, fraud prevention, video player state.

4. Sub-processors

  • Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) — hosting, storage (EU);
  • BunnyWay d.o.o. (Slovenia, Bunny.net) — video hosting and streaming (EU);
  • Resend, Inc. (USA) — transactional email delivery (registration confirmation, reminders). Transfer basis: Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1795 (EU-USA Data Privacy Framework). Fall-back: if invalidated, the transfer continues under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to (EU) 2021/914 Module 2.

5. Retention

  • Registration data and viewing logs: default webinar end + 12 months, unless the User (as controller) directs otherwise.
  • Transactional email logs: max 12 months.
  • Security / audit logs: max 12 months.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

Access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), portability (Art. 20), objection incl. marketing (Art. 21), withdrawal of consent (Art. 7(3)), complaint to a supervisory authority (Art. 77).

Where to direct your request: because each controller acts independently, you may exercise your rights with either of them directly: (i) the webinar organizer (User) — especially for their own marketing or customer-relationship processing — contact details on the webinar page footer or in the privacy notice they publish; (ii) 10x Akadémia Kft for Platform-level processing: info@webinar4me.com. Both controllers must respond within 30 days.

Withdrawal of marketing consent: because any marketing consent was given directly to the webinar organizer, not to the Platform, withdrawal must likewise be addressed to the webinar organizer — via the one-click unsubscribe link in any marketing email they send you, or directly via their contact details. Transactional emails sent by 10x Akadémia (registration confirmation, reminders, replay link) are necessary to perform the contract and cannot be unsubscribed from — they stop only when the registration is deleted.

7. Supervisory authority

In Hungary: NAIH, 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11., naih.hu. EU residents may also approach the supervisory authority of their member state.

8. Cookies on the watch page

The Platform uses only strictly necessary cookies during webinar playback (session ID, playback position). Any analytics or marketing cookies on the watch page are configured by the User. Details: Cookie Policy.

9. Changes

10x Akadémia Kft may amend this Platform-level notice; the effective date is published on /nezo-tajekoztato 30 days before any change takes effect.

10. Contact

Platform-level questions: info@webinar4me.com. Webinar-specific questions: the User (webinar owner) — contact in the webinar page footer.
